Appliance repair

Washer repair you can book the same day

Leaks, drum noise, drainage faults and error codes on every major front-load and top-load washer — diagnosed properly before we touch a bolt.

  • Same-day appointments
  • Warranty on parts and labor

A washing machine rarely fails without warning. It starts as a shirt that comes out wetter than usual, a rumble on the spin cycle, or a small damp patch under the front lip. Left alone, those small symptoms turn into a failed bearing or a flooded laundry room — which is why we hold same-day slots for laundry calls across Sherman Oaks, Encino, Studio City and the rest of the Valley.

Our technicians arrive with the parts that actually fail on modern washers: drain pumps, door boots, pressure switches, shock absorbers and control boards for the common Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, Maytag and Bosch platforms. Roughly four out of five washer repairs are finished on the first visit.

Common washer problems we fix

  • Water on the floor. Almost always the door boot, the drain pump housing or a split hose — not the tub. We pressure-test before quoting so you are not paying for a guess.
  • The drum will not spin or drain. A coin or hairpin in the pump filter, a stretched belt, or a failed motor control board. The fix ranges from a ten-minute clean-out to a board swap, and we tell you which before starting.
  • Loud banging on the spin cycle. Worn suspension rods on a top-loader or failed shock absorbers on a front-loader. Ignoring it wears the bearing, which is the one repair that can cost more than the machine is worth.
  • Clothes come out soaking wet. The machine is not reaching spin speed — usually a drain restriction, a lid switch, or a speed sensor rather than the motor itself.
  • It fills forever, or not at all. Inlet valves and pressure switches. Hard water across much of the Valley is rough on both, and both are inexpensive parts.
  • An error code on the display. Codes narrow the fault down but rarely name the part. We read the code, then verify it against the actual component before ordering anything.

Every washer format we service

  • Top-load washers with and without a center agitator
  • Washer-dryer combo units and compact 24-inch machines

  • Light commercial machines in small laundries and multi-unit buildings

Washer Repair FAQ

Is it worth repairing a washer, or should I replace it?

As a rule of thumb: if the machine is under eight years old and the failed part is not a major assembly, repairing is the better call. Drum bearing failures on older machines are the usual exception, and we will tell you plainly when replacement is the smarter call.

How long does a washer repair take?

Most visits run 45 to 90 minutes including diagnosis. If a part has to be ordered, we book the return visit before leaving so you are not chasing a schedule.

Why does my washer smell even after cleaning it?

Front-loaders trap water in the door boot and the detergent drawer. A proper service clean of the boot, drawer and drain filter usually solves it — and if it does not, the pump housing is holding standing water.

Do you repair washers still under manufacturer warranty?

We can, but check your warranty terms first: some manufacturers require an authorized servicer or the coverage is void. If yours does, we will say so rather than take the job.
